Coal mining companies have a place to accommodate the results of temporary economic minerals for a long time and then carry out marketing or the stockpile area. Coal hoarding for a long time will experience land subsidence or settlement, resulting in the reduced economic value of coal. Settlement due to loading requires consolidation analysis. The consolidation process shrinks the volume or void ratio due to loading on the surface. Land consolidation research in the Pit X stockpile area, Bangko Tengah, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, is needed to predict land subsidence. The analysis aims to determine the value of settlement of soil consolidation and consolidation time. Soil consolidation data was obtained by taking six consolidation sample points in the field with laboratory analysis by testing physical properti and testing soil consolidation. The research method uses the USCS classification in physical properti and soil consolidation analysis. The physical properti are testing data obtained data in the form of water content, density, specific gravity, and Atterberg limit. Consolidation calculation data is obtained from laboratory analysis tests and secondary data on coal stockpiling—processing results from consolidation calculations and interpolation maps from sample points. The consolidation calculation analysis uses the Terzaghi calculation formula to determine the settlement prediction and the time for soil consolidation to reach t90. The depiction of the interpolation of the consolidated calculation results from the sample points is obtained using the Surfer application. The results of data processing obtained testing with physical properti of water content 23.07%, specific gravity 2.75 kN/3, density 15.66 kN/m3. According to USCS, soil plasticity classification found that the average CL-type soil has moderate plasticity with a Liquid Limit value of 49.50, a plastic limit of 23.33%, and a plasticity index of 24.50%. The decrease in consolidation results in the study area was obtained with a settlement value of 3.54 cm and a consolidation settlement time of 0.96 years.
