Background: Decompensation cordis is a condition in which the heart fails to pump blood to meet metabolic needs. A complaint that is often felt by patients with cordis decompensation is that they often wake up because of shortness of breath, which results in a decrease in the patient's sleep quality. Sleep quality is a condition in which a person can easily fall asleep and maintain sleep, the long sleep component and the complaints felt during sleep and waking up are also an illustration of sleep quality. The implementation that can be given to improve sleep quality is semi-Fowler's position because it is effective and more suitable for children with cordis decompensation. Purpose: Describe the results of pediatric nursing practice that focuses on nursing care for children with cordis decompensation and in accordance with evidence based learning studies. Methods: The method used is a qualitative description with a case study approach and journal review in pediatric patients with cordis decompensation. Results: There were 6 nursing problems that arose in the three patients and the problem that was often complained of was sleep pattern disturbances. The implementation of semi-fowler sleeping position settings given to overcome sleep pattern disturbances in patients shows an increase in the quality of sleep in patients with cordis decompensation. Conclusion: The nursing care provided to the three managed patients starts from the stages of assessment, data analysis and nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Adjusting the semi-fowler position while sleeping for 3 days was able to improve the sleep quality of the three patients being treated.
