Renewable energy sources are environmentally friendly alternative energy sources to replace fossil energy. One of the new renewable energy sources is a solar power plant that converts solar energy into electrical energy with solar panels. One way to increase the output power is by adding a flat mirror reflector and a fresnel lens concentrator. In this study, two prototypes of 10 WP polycrystalline solar panels with flat mirrors and a solar panel with a combination of flat mirrors and fresnel lenses were tested, where the height of the fresnel lens was determined by the ratio of the lens height, so the lens height was 4 cm. The results obtained after this test were prototype solar panels with flat mirrors producing the highest average voltage, current and power values of 15.75 V, 0.52 A and 8.50 Watt. Whereas solar panels with a combination of flat mirrors and fresnel lenses produce an average value of the highest voltage, current, power of 16.59 V and 0.40 A, and 6.99 Watt. At the highest average voltage, solar panels with a fresnel lens combination have a slightly higher voltage, this is because partial shading makes the temperature slightly lower so that the voltage can be higher. The output power of solar panels with a combination of flat mirrors and Fresnel lenses is lower than solar panels with flat mirror reflectors. This is because the solar radiation received by the surface of the solar panel with a flat mirror reflector is more than the solar panel with a combination of a flat mirror reflector and a fresnel lens concentrator experiencing partial shading.
