Drag queen can be said as a social phenomenon in which a man imitates various behaviors and uses cothes usually worn by women. This profession can be said to be a cross-gender profession because it plays a role that is opposite to its gender.this study discusses the life and behavior of drag queens as a MC’s in Palembang City. Seeing the life and behavior of drag queens on stage (front stage) and back stage. By using dramatugical thingking according to Goffman. The research method sed is descriptive qualitaitve research method. Retrieval of infromants using puposive techniques. Data collecion techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of the study show that there are differences in the lives experienced by drag queen performers, which indicates that women's properties used on stage are not present in the back stage of drag queen performers. However, back stage, the behavior shown was slightly graceful from the man's true nature. Keywords: Drag Queen, Master Of Ceremony, Dramaturgical.
