This study aims to determine and describe how people perceive the existence of Maxim Online Transportation in Palembang City. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative analysis which has a single variable. The sample in this study were 100 respondents, namely people who use Maxim Online Transportation with an age range of 14-50 years who live in Palembang City. The sample lechnique used was Accidenial Sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The research was analyzed using perception indicators from Bimo Walgito (2010). The results showed that public perception of the existence of Maxim Online Transportation in Palembang City in each indicator of information oblained about maxim (65.25%), where the information was oblained (61.9%), public understanding of maxim online transportation (62.06%), and how the public assesses the existence of maxim online transportation (67.1%). The conclusion of this study is that the public perception of the existence of online transportation maxim is 64.12% which means Good.
