KEPATUHAN INDONESIA DALAM UNITED NATIONS OFFICE ON DRUGS AND CRIME (UNODC) TERKAIT MEWUJUDKAN ASEAN DRUG FREE DI KAWASAN PERBATASAN
The problem of drug abuse and illicit trafficking both at the national, regional and global levels has long been an extraordinary crime that continues to threaten and has damaged the joints of human life, nation and state. In this study, we will look at the form of compliance carried out by Indonesia in complying with and overcoming the problem of narcotics abuse that has reached an emergency level. Therefore, this study uses the theory of international regimes by Stephen Krasner. This research uses a qualitative method with descriptive analysis techniques that will describe Indonesia's compliance in the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) related to realizing ASEAN Drugs free in the border area. Based on the results of the research obtained, in realizing Drug-Free ASEAN 2015, Indonesia has made maximum efforts. However, the aspiration to make Indonesia a region free from drug problems is still difficult to realize because in Indonesia, the amount of drug abuse is increasing, making it quite difficult for Indonesia to contribute significantly to the realization of the ideals of a Drug-Free ASEAN.
