Rape of the wife or marital rape is one of the problems that is widely discussed in various media. Some of them are media that published news on this marital rape case, namely Tirto.id and Mubadalah.id. For this reason, this study aims to find out how the framing of marital rape cases in online media Tirto.id and Mubadalah.id. This study uses William A. Gamson's framing analysis model which discusses two framing elements, namely Framing Device; Metaphors, Catchphrases, Exemplaar, Depiction, Visual Image. Reasoning Device; Roots, Appeals To Principle, Consequences. And problem solving using media reality construction theory by Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckman. The object of this research is news of marital rape cases with research subjects Tirto.id and Mubadalah.id. This research approach uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The results showed that Tirto.id and Mubadalah.id framed the news of marital rape cases by refusing to mention the existence of marital rape cases by providing information about regulations aimed at marital rape perpetrators, namely the RKUHP law Article 480 paragraphs 1 and 2 as well as the view of Islamic law. through the arguments and hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad. The framing also shows different views in the community who still think that marital rape is a myth.
