PARTISIPASI ANAK MUDA DALAM MENINGKATKAN TUJUAN PEMBANGUNAN BERKELANJUTAN/TPB (Studi Pada Mitra Muda UNICEF Indonesia)
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is the agenda that were declared in the general assembly of the United Nations at the end of 2015 and must be achieved together in 2030 to create a better world. The success of realizing the SDGs really depends on the support and participation of all citizens of the world, one of which is the younger generation. As a member of the United Nations that agrees on the SDGs, it is hoped that Indonesia can play an active roles in realizing the Sustainable Development Goals. Mitra Muda in this case is one of the programs from UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Fund) to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and help the government. This study aims to determine the participation and role of young people in sustainable development goals using qualitative research methods and the theory of participation by Cohen and Uphoff (1977). This research analyzes the active role of young people in contributing to socializing and realizing the Sustainable Development Goals with the Government and competent parties such as educational institutions and experts in the fields of economics, environment, education, and other fields in the 17 global goals already quite optimal but still constrained in several types of dimensions of participation.
