Photocopier is a film that highlights issue of sexual harassment which is considered taboo in society. The writers wanted to tell about the issue to the audiences, but they might had their own interpretation. Based on that, this purpose of research is to understand how each people interpretating the meaning of sexual harassment in this film Photocopier. This study uses a qualitative method with a reception analysis approach by Stuart Hall. The data of this study were obtained from the results of in-depth interviews conducted with sources who had watched the Photocopier film. The results of this study were that three out of four informants showed their reception in the dominant hegemonic position and one informant was in an oppositional position.
