The results obtained are measured based on indicators of articles in the journalistic code of ethics. Based on 11 articles and their interpretations, it shows that the journalistic code of ethics has not been fully implemented by journalists of the Palembang Post General Daily, it is seen that there are still several articles in the journalistic code of ethics that have not been implemented or violated by journalists, including articles 1 and 3 which concern the balance of news where journalists are sometimes still not balanced because of difficulties in obtaining confirmation from several competent parties, Then Article 2 on plagiarism where it is found that journalists plagiarize news from other media and Article 6 on accepting bribes, journalists admit that the possibility of receiving bribes can still occur, especially in the coverage of an event. There are 3 factors that make journalists still violate this journalistic code of ethics, namely the lack of understanding of the journalistic code of ethics, the demands for news publication times, and factors in the field. This was obtained by researchers in data collection, namely in-depth interviews in the form of confessions from key informants, namely journalists from the Palembang Post General Daily, field observations, evidence such as documentation studies, and interviews with supporting informants.
