STRATEGI INDONESIA DALAM MEMPROMOSIKAN BATIK DI PERANCIS TAHUN 2016-2019
This study attempts to describe Indonesia's strategy in promoting batik In France in 2016- 2019 through a conceptual framework of commercial diplomacy. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that based on the theoretical framework of commercial diplomacy from Evan Potter, the Indonesian Government and Business Actors have carried out four activities to promote batik in France In 2016-2019. These activities re: building a positive image with the aim of attracting the Interest of the French public, providing various facilities for batik, conducting various kinds of batik exhibitions in France, carrying out cooperation between the Governments of Indonesia and France through their Ministries, and issuing rules and policies to facilitate access to domestic batik. Through these various efforts it can be seen that Indonesia's commercial diplomacy strategy in promoting batik in France in 2016-2019 is through trade promotion, intelligent, networking and public relations activities, and contract negotiators of implementation.
