PERENCANAAN DAN PERANCANGAN MIXED-USE BUILDING DI KOTA PALEMBANG
THE RAPID POPULATION GROWTH IN PALEMBANG CITY HAS BECOME A PROBLEM FOR HOUSING NEEDS. THIS AFFECTS THE NEED FOR LAND WHICH CONTINUES TO INCREASE SO THAT VACANT LAND WILL CONTINUE TO DECREASE. THE INCREASE IN HOUSING NEEDS ALSO HAS AN IMPACT ON THE ECONOMIC SECTOR. PALEMBANG CITY ITSELF HAS SUPPORTED THE DEVELOPMENT OF INCOMING INVESTORS. SO THAT THE PALEMBANG CITY GOVERNMENT HAS GUARANTEED THE EASE OF LICENSING OF BUSINESS ACTORS SO THAT THE EMERGENCE OF INVESTORS IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH CENTRAL GOVERNMENT INSTRUCTIONS. MIXED-USE BUILDING IS A BUILDING CONCEPT THAT ALLOWS US TO BUILD A BUILDING CONSISTING OF VARIOUS FUNCTIONS IN ORDER TO CREATE EFFICIENCY ON LAND AND USER COMFORT. WITH THE FUNCTION OF THE APARTMENT, IT CAN BE ONE OF THE SOLUTIONS TO OVERCOME THE PROBLEM OF THE INCREASINGLY NARROW LAND SECTOR DUE TO THE POPULATION WANTING TO LIVE ALONE. THE CONSTRUCTION OF APARTMENTS THAT ARE DESIGNED VERTICALLY WILL SAVE MORE LAND ON THE SITE. RESIDENTS CERTAINLY NEED SHOPPING FACILITIES THAT HAVE EASY ACCESS TO THEIR RESIDENCES. THEREFORE, COMBINING THE FUNCTIONS OF APARTMENTS AND SHOPPING CENTER MAKES A GOOD COLLABORATION BOTH IN TERMS OF ACCESSIBILITY, AND CIRCULATION OF RESIDENTS' NEEDS.
