This research uses qualitative research methods and primary and secondary data sources obtained through interviews and books, journals, articles, and websites related to the research topic. The research results obtained show that the multilateral diplomacy carried out within the ASEAN-EU is producing results, at least Indonesia has received efforts with the existence of a Joint Working Group on Palm Oil. However, the Joint Working Group on Palm Oil has not discussed in more depth regarding the agreement, there is still no clear point regarding the agreement of mutual interests.
