This research is motivated by the planning of the Palembang City Government in overcoming flooding and bad odors by restoring the Sekanak-Lambidaro River which in the future will be turned into a city tourist destination. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Sekanak-Lambidaro River restoration program in Palembang City. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive research method, which describes the phenomenon of the problems studied through observations, interviews, personal documentation, and other personal documents. The aspects used are relevance, effectiveness, impact, efficiency, and sustainability. The results of the study show that the Sekanak-Lambidaro River restoration program is still going well, but there are several obstacles such as the arrival of COVID, funds waiting for the sale of State Sharia Securities, and there are still some damage to facilities and an unpleasant smell from the river.
