This undergraduate thesis aims to discover how the Industry and Trade office of Jambi Province implements the issuance of a business trade license for duty-free alcoholic beverages. This study used descriptive research with a qualitative approach with the primary objective of explaining and describing social phenomena and events. The data in this study used primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews with interviewees. In contrast, secondary data used the Jambi Province Industry and Trade Office's archives and related journals on a business trade license for alcoholic beverages. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation had been carried out as planned but not at its optimal yet. Because while under supervision, many traders still considered this business license important, and the Jambi Province Industry and Trade Office lacked socialization in the community. Moreover, the Industry and Trade Office of the Jambi Province ceased direct supervision in 2019, which resulted in more and more sellers of alcoholic beverages operating without this license. This research is intended for the Industry and Trade Office of Jambi Province so that they may carry out the arranged plans under the set goals and operate effectively and efficiently.
