Construction projects in Indonesia are growing rapidly, followed by the level of complexity of their implementation. However, in practice, a project has its own obstacles. Therefore, project management is an important aspect in the implementation of construction projects. Most of the scheduling methods used in project management in Indonesia still use conventional methods, namely the S Curve and Bar Chart, because these two methods are easy to understand and fairly simple and can make it easier to control the duration of the planned project. However, the use of conventional methods has its own risks in supervising ongoing projects. So that an alternative acceleration is needed, namely the Fast Track Method. This research was conducted at the Sriwijaya University Student Character Development Building Project. The project was chosen because of delays and scheduling using conventional methods. Acceleration uses the help of Microsoft Project 2019 to find out the critical path with PDM. The results of the acceleration analysis can reduce the duration by 11.67% or 21 days and cost savings of IDR 143,686,667 or 0.93% from the initial contract.
