Andesite is one of the rock mining commodities that is useful in building infrastructure in the Baturaja area. In 2023, PT Bima Shabartum will mine in the South Ogan Komering Ulu district, so data is needed to prepare the mining process, namely regional geological data, pit limit design data, and mine road planning. Therefore, the authors conducted research to obtain these data. Prospecting activities were carried out to obtain regional geological data so as to obtain data on potential andesite resources. From this prospecting activity, the data is processed into a pit limit design and estimated mined reserves and slope parameters. The pit design uses a height of 45 meters, a berm of 10 meters, and a slope of 89 degrees as slope parameters. Thus, obtained in the mining front is an area of 38.7 ha, which is equipped with a processing area of 3.78 ha and 2.85 hectares for the needs of mess facilities and other facilities, and reserves that can be mined using the wireframe method of 16.646.000 m3. The mining design that will be carried out is that PT Bima Shabartum Wijaya will be mined for 15 years and the production plan will be carried out using the side hill type method in the first two years and continue using the pit type quarry method. In the first five years, the production target was increased from 200,000 to 649,000; in the second five years, an increase was made from 850,000 to 1,750,000; and in the last five years it will be mined with a production target of 1,750,000.
