This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of various mixed herbicide formulations of atrazine and mesotrione to control weeds on the growth and yield of corn (Zea mays L.). The research was carried out in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, from September to December 2022. The research used the Factorial Randomized Block Design with two factors. The first factor was the type of herbicide mixture with three treatments, namely J1 = Atrazine 500 g l-1 + Mesotrione 50 g l-1, J2 = Atrazine 500 g l-1 + Mesotrione 55 g l-1, J3 = Atrazine 500 g l-1 + Mesotrione 60 g l-1. The second factor was the doses of the herbicide mixture with four treatments, namely D1 = 1 l ha-1, D2 = 1,5 l ha-1, D3 = 2 l ha-1, D4 = 2,5 l ha-1, each treatment repeated three times. The results showed that there was a change in weed composition for broadleaf weeds. Before soil tillage, the dominant weed was Borreria alata with SDR 7,93%, after soil tillage, the dominant weed was Calopogonium caeruleum with SDR 15,81% and after the application of herbicide, the dominant weed was Richardia brasiliensis with SDR 14,3%. The herbicide treatment of atrazine 500 g l-1 + mesotrione 50 g l-1 at a dose of 1 l ha-1 (J1D1) effectively controlled total weeds three weeks after application with a weed dry weight of 5,73 g and at a dose of 2 l ha-1 (D3), it was effective in controlling broadleaf weeds three weeks after application with a weed dry weight of 0,84 g. The herbicide treatment of atrazine 500 g l-1 + mesotrione 55 g l-1 at a dose of 2 l ha-1 (J2D3) had the best effect on the growth and yield of corn (Zea mays L.), resulting in a seed weight ha-1 of 13,81 tons. Keywords : Atrazine, Weeds, Herbicides, Corn, Mesotrione
