IDENTIFIKASI KERAWANAN LONGSOR DI KECAMATAN PULAU PINANG KABUPATEN LAHAT SUMATERA SELATAN
ABSTRACT This research is located in the administrative area District of Pulau Pinang, Lahat Regency, South Sumatra. Geologically, it is located in the South Sumatra basin which is a back arc basin. Geologically it is located in the South Sumatra basin on the Geological Map of the Lahat Sheets. The District of Paulau Pinang is an area with a high elevation of 60 - 475 m above sea level which is included in the low hills - hills area. Landslide-prone potential at the research site has a high level of vulnerability with a percentage of 75%, with the lithology of the constituent rocks, namely the young volcanic breccia with Holocene age. The soil type at the landslide point were Ferric Acrisols (Af) and Humic Cambisols (Bh). The avalanche points were found in Kuba Village, Lubuk Sepang Village, and Tanjung Mulak Village. Based on the value undrained shear strength (kPa) value of the four undisturbed samples (US), the soil consistency results were in the form of soft and very soft soil. The Rainfall Map for 2010 – 2020 shows that the rainfall in the study area is high (300 – 400 mm) a result landslides always occur every year from October to April on the Lahat – Pagaralam Provincial Road.
