The research aimed to determine the effect of the application of chicken manure on the growth and yield of hot red chili (Capsicum annum L.) Laris varieties in floating . The research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University Indralaya with the location point coordinates (104°64'86"E; 3°22'51"S). The time for conducting the research starts from June to September 2022. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) which consisted of 4 treatments, each treatment was repeated 3 times and got 12 treatment units, each treatment unit had 2 plants, so the total was 24 plants. The four treatments were: P0 = Control, P1 = 10 ton/ha (25 g/polybag) of chicken manure, P2 = 15 ton/ha (37.5 g/polybag) of chicken manure, P3 = 20 ton/ha ( 50 g/polybag) chicken manure. Variables observed in this study included plant height, number of leaves, crown diameter, the greenness of leaves, flowering age, number of fruit, fruit length, fruit diameter, fruit weight, number of branches, fresh crown weight, crown dry weight, root fresh weight, and root dry weight. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the application of chicken manure in treatment P3 = 20 ton/ha (50 g/polybag) of chicken manure was the best treatment in increasing the growth and yield of hot�selling red chili varieties
