KEANEKARAGAMAN DAN TINGKAT SERANGAN HAMA PADA TANAMAN TOMAT YANG DIAPLIKASI EKSTRAK DAUN SERAI WANGI, DAUN SIRSAK DAN DAUN SIRIH
The existence of pest attacks is an obstacle in the cultivation of tomato plants, causing losses and loss of production. This study aims to determine the effect of extracts of citronella leaves, soursop leaves and betel leaves as vegetable pesticides on populations and to test them in reducing the intensity and percentage of pest attacks on tomato plants. This research was conducted from May 2022 to December in a research experimental field, Department of Plant Pests and Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir Regency. Using experimental research methods - carried out through trials of the application of botanical pesticides with a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 3 treatments and 7 replications. The results showed that the number of populations and species of trapped insect pests that were trapped fluctuated and varied. The diversity index, the distribution of individual species and the proportion of dominating insect species produced during the study were low so that the application trials had no significant effect. The percentage of pest attack on tomatoes by Helicoverpa armigera was low, so the application trials had no significant effect. While the intensity of pest attack on tomato leaves caused by Liriomyza sp during the observation experienced fluctuations in attack so that the application experiment had a significant effect, but the attack intensity was still relatively low.
