ISOLASI JAMUR ENDOFIT DARI AKAR DUKU (LANSIUM DOMESTICUM) DAN ANTAGONISNYA TERHADAP CERATOCYSTIS
Endophytic microorganisms are microorganisms that are located on the inside of higher plant tissues, so they do not cause intracellular or intercellular growth in the host. Endophytic microorganisms are classified as one of the plant symbiont groups, this makes them a component of microbial diversity. The endophytic phylum of fungi of various plant species includes: Ascomycota, Basidiomycota, and Zygomycota. The purpose of this study is to explore antagonistic microbes in the form of fungi from the roots of duku plants in controlling deadly Ceratocystis disease in duku plants and to test the ability of fungal endophytic microbes to suppress Ceratocystis disease invivo. It is hoped that this study can provide information about the types of endophytic microbes present in duku plants and their potential in controlling Ceratocystis. This research was conducted from June to December 2022. A sampling survey was carried out in four regencies in South Sumatra, namely Ogan Ilir District, Ogan Komering Ilir District, Musi Banyuasin District, and Ogan Komering Ulu District. Sampling was carried out using the purposive random sampling method. Isolation and antagonist tests were carried out at the Phytopathology Laboratory, Department of Plant Pests and Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The study used a complete randomized design (RAL) with 3 repeats. The results of this study show that the morphological characteristics obtained from each district are different. The lowest inhibitory power test was on JSM 8A isolates originating from Ogan Komering Ilir District. Meanwhile, the one that showed the highest inhibitory power was in the JTR 3A isolate from Ogan Komering Ulu District.
