Oil palm is a superior plantation commodity in Indonesia. high or low the production result of oil palm can be affected by several factors, an example can be seen by the production result of fresh fruit bunches (FFB). These phytophagous insects very important because they were useful for pollinating oil palm plants. utilization of refugia plant is very helpful in attracted the attention of phytophagous insects. this research was conducted purposely to determine the level of effectiveness of A. leptopus in attracted the attention of phytophagous insects pollinating oil palm plant. the method used in this research is direct observation (scan sampling). During the observation, five families belonging to four orders were found. The flower visitor insect A. leptopus act as a phytophagous and pollinator. Phytophages and pollinators were found during observation in the morning at 07.00-08.00 than in the afternoon and evening at 12.00-13.00 and 16. 00-17.00. the most commonly found species was B. addita and the few found was A. violae.
