PERPINDAHAN PANAS KONVEKSI ALIRAN AIR DALAM PIPA YANG MEMPUNYAI LEKUKAN BULAT DENGAN DIAMETER 2 MM DENGAN HEAT FLUX KONSTAN
This paper presents an experimental study of forced convection heat transfer of water flow in a pipe with semi-circular grooves oriented towards the inside of the pipe. Heat is supplied through a heating wire wound around the pipe, with a constant electric current flux. The heat from the pipe wall is absorbed by the flowing water inside the pipe. Along the circumference of the pipe, three rows of grooves are created, and the groove diameters vary at 2, 4, and 6 mm. The variation in flow rate, expressed in Reynolds numbers, results in laminar and turbulent flows. The results indicate a longitudinal temperature increase along the pipe, where the convective coefficient rises with increasing Reynolds number, leading to enhanced heat transfer as Reynolds number increases.
