RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM RAKIT APUNG MENGGUNAKAN BOLA PELAMPUNG DI RAWA LEBAK
This research aims to design a floating raft with a float ball to be applied in lebak swamp land. This research was carried out from December 2022 to April 2023 at the Laboratory of Machinery and Workshop of the Agricultural Engineering Study Program and the Laboratory of the Department of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The research method used is design method and direct observation. This research has parameters, namely the calculation of the volume of the float ball, the analysis of buoyancy force, the calculation of the plan load on the floating raft, and the load test. The results obtained are the volume of the buoy can affect the ability of the raft to support the load on the floating raft. The greater the volume of the buoy, the greater the load accommodated. The largest volume calculation is obtained in the calculation of 8 buoys, namely 0.033 m3 and the smallest volume is obtained in 5 buoys, namely 0.021 m3. The results show that the buoyancy force on each number of buoys is 205.1 N for 5 buoys; 246.2 N for 6 buoys; 287.2 N for 7 buoys; and 328.2 N for 8 buoys. The results of the analysis of the calculation of the plan load on each number of buoys are 20.9 kg for 5 buoys; 25.1 kg for 6 buoys; 29.3 kg for 7 buoys; and 33.5 kg for 8 buoys
