KAJIAN EKSTRAK DAUN SIRSAK (ANNONA MURICATA LINN) UNTUK PENCEGAHAN KONTAMINASI LALAT PADA IKAN ASIN
This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of soursop leaf extract (Annona muricata Linn) as a natural fly repellent on salted fish. The concentrations used in salted fish in this study were 0% soursop leaf extract, 0,6% soursop leaf extract, and 1,2% soursop leaf extract. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) method with 3 treatment levels and 3 replications. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance (Ansira) and continued with the BNJ with a level of 5%. While sensory analysis was analyzed using Kruskal-Wallis analysis. The results showed that a concentration of 0,6% soursop leaf extract was able to make the larvae leave the observation vessel and the fly larvae were not actively moving. While the concentration of 1,2% soursop leaf extract can cause death in fly larvae. In the test of the effect of soursop leaf extract, the number of flies that landed on the drying process of salted fish had a significant effect on the treatment of soursop leaf extract and the difference in observation time of drying salted fish related to temperature and humidity. Soursop leaf extract with a concentration of 0,6% can reduce flies by 62.1% and soursop leaf extract with a concentration of 1,2% can reduce flies by 91.4%. The results of sensory analysis showed that soursop leaf extract treatment had no significant effect on appearance, taste, texture and fungus. But it has a real effect on the smell and color of salted fish.
