PERENCANAAN JARINGAN IRIGASI SALURAN TERSIER DAN NORMALISASI SALURAN TERSIER EKSISTING DI DESA SUNGAI JERUJU KECAMATAN CENGAL KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ILIR
Planning for irrigation networks and normalization of tertiary canals is planned to increase the productivity of agricultural land in Sungai Jeruju Village, Cengal District to two plantings with a paddy-paddy cropping pattern. The data used was obtained from direct surveys or called primary data, for secondary data obtained from the TRMM and BMKG satellites at the Kenten Palembang Station. In this study divided into two analyses, namely hydrological analysis and hydraulic analysis. Hydrological analysis in the form of evapotranspiration (ETo) calculations using the Hargreaves method, rice field level water requirements (IR), rice field clean water requirements (NFR), waster modulus (Dm), and design discharge (Qd). As for the hydraulic analysis in the form of calculating the dimensions of the existing tertiary irrigation channels and planning. The results of the hydrological analysis using the paddy-paddy cropping pattern obtained the maximum evapotranspiration (Eto) value of 1.46 mm/day, the rice field level irrigation water requirement (IR) of 7.575 mm/day, the rice field clean water requirement (NFR) of 11.57 mm/day, discharge modulus (Dm) of 1,721 lt/s/ha, planned discharge of existing channels (Qd) of 0.10 m3/s, and planned discharge of planned channels (Qd) of 0.04 m3/s. Hydraulics analysis on the existing unpaired tertiary canal with open square shape obtained dimensions based on field conditions with channel width (b) 1 m, water level (h) 2 m and guard height (w) 0.4 m and maximum flow velocity of 0.05 m/ s. For tertiary canals the planned dimensions are in the form of an open trapezoid with a bottom width of the channel (b) 0.4 m, an upper width of the channel (B) 0.64 m to 0.8 m, water level height (h) 0.12 m to 0.2 m, and guard height (w) 0.4 m with a maximum flow velocity of 0.35 m/s. Based on the canal planning criteria, the minimum flow velocity of the canal is 0.2 m/s to prevent canal sedimentation. The results of hydraulic analysis calculations for the planned tertiary canal have fulfilled the minimum flow velocity criteria and the dimensions of the planned canal can be used in irrigation networks in Sungai Jeruju Village, Cengal District.
