IMPLEMENTASI REGENERATIVE BRAKING SYSTEM PADA AUTONOMOUS ELECTRIC VEHICLE DENGAN FUZZY LOGIC CONTROLLER
Autonomous electric vehicle is an electric vehicle that can run automatically without a driver or accompanied by a driver. Autonomous electric vehicle uses an electric motor as its driving machine. This electric motor can change its function to become a generator and generating power when in braking mode, one method that can be done is regenerative braking system. In this study, the braking system applied to the autonomous electric vehicle is in the form of automatic braking using fuzzy control with output PWM to pg56 motor as the braking motor. The pg56 motor is used as a spring-brake puller motor for DC shunt motors. The speed of the pg56 motor will be regulated using a fuzzy logic controller with input speed of driving motor which consists of 5 members and the distance input which consists of 3 members. Meanwhile, for the regenerative braking, an electrical path from the DC motor will be designed which is connected to the driving motor via a gear and a belt and then enters the voltmeter sensor so that the amount of voltage that can be generated by the DC motor can be determined and not returned to the battery. From the data obtained, it can be seen that the highest voltage that can be generated by a DC motor is 2.72 Volts. Result of this study indicated that fuzzy control system can perform braking very well and also influences the measured back voltage.
