KARAKTERISASI SIFAT TERMOFISIK DAN STABILITAS FLUIDA NANO AL2O3-TIO2/AQUADES PADA FRAKSI VOLUME 2%, 4%, 6%
A Nanofluid is a mixture of a liquid (basic fluid) with particles measuring 1-100 nm (nanoparticles). Preparation of nanofluids is prepared according to the parameters set in Orthogonal Array L9(34). The preparation process begins with mixing Hybrid Al2O3-TiO2 nanoparticles with basic fluid (aquades) which is then carried out by the stirring process using a magnetic stirrer. Furthermore, vibration is carried out with an ultrasonic cleaner as an agglomerator. Then an analysis of the stability of the nanofluid was carried out using the sedimentation and centrifugation methods. Furthermore, testing the density with a pycnometer and viscosity using a falling ball viscometer. Then the density and viscosity data were processed using ANOVA statistical calculations on the taguchi method to obtain optimal sample conditions from the nanofluid. A3, B3, C2, and D1 are setting the optimal level of nanofluid density. A3, B1, C2, and D2 are the optimal level settings of the nanofluid viscosity. The results of scanning electron microscope (SEM) observations show particles in the form of cubic and small spheres and particle sizes ranging from 5 x 103 nm to 175 x 103 nm
