PENGARUH KELENGKUNGAN SINGKAL YANG DILAPISI KUNINGAN DAN ZINCALUM TERHADAP KEBUTUHAN ENERGI PADA PENGOLAHAN TANAH ULTISOL
The research objective was to determine the effect of moldboard culvature coated by brass and zincalume on energy consumption in ultisol soil tillage. The method used was Factorial Randomized Block design which consist two treatment factor, namely the angle of curvature of the flow (A) and coating material (B) on moldboard. Each factor consists of three level of treatments. The treatment level for the angle of curvature were of the angle of curvature 120o, 130o, and 140o while the treatment for the coating materials were brass and zincalume. The results showed that the angle of curvature of the moldboard and the coating material of the plow significantly affected on ultisol soil tillage, where the combination treatment of the angle of curvature the moldboard 140o and brass plated producing the lowest soil stickiness of 46.67 g, while the combination of the 120o angle of curvature and brass plated produced 179.9 kkal/ha of energy consumption, 14.17 cm depth, 14.00 cm hight of soil tilled, and 21.50 cm whit of tillage
