This study aims to: 1) Calculate the income received by rice farmers; 2) Describe post-harvest management of rice commodities carried out by rice farmers; 3) Analyzing marketing channels, marketing margins, farmer's share and rice marketing efficiency. This research was conducted in Pulokerto Village, Gandus District, Palembang City, South Sumatra. The location determination was done purposively. The method used in this research is survey method. The time for carrying out this research was carried out from December 2022 to February 2023 in Kampung Sungai Lilin, Pulokerto Village. Sampling method was carried out by purposive sampling method with the slovin formula obtained 40 samples of farmers and for marketing institutions using the snowball sampling method. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that: 1) The average income of rice farmers received by farmers in conducting rice farming in Pulokerto Village in one planting season has not been profitable, namely Rp. Rp. 6,595,128/Lg/Mt and Rp. 8,713,441/Ha/Mt; 2) Post-harvest management carried out by rice farmers in Pulokerto Village, Gandus District, there are activities that are not in accordance with the standard Good Handling Practices (GHP) procedures. Activities that comply with GHP standards are stacking, threshing and milling. Activities that are not suitable are drying, storage, and marketing; 3) There are 2 rice marketing channels in Pulokerto Village, namely rice mills, middlemen (middlemen) – wholesalers – final consumers. The rice marketing channel in Pulokerto Village is efficient. The efficiency value of rice marketing in the first channel is 2.91persen and the second channel is 16.91persen. So that the most efficient rice marketing channel is the first channel because the value of the first marketing efficiency criterion is smaller.
