HUBUNGAN KEBERADAAN TEMPAT PERKEMBANGBIAKAN DAN TEMPAT ISTIRAHAT TERHADAP KEJADIAN DEMAM BERDARAH DENGUE DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS PERUMNAS KABUPATEN LAHAT
The incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever in the working area of Perumnas Health Center, Lahat Regency, has fluctuated up and down in the last three years. Environmental factors such as breeding sites and resting places for Aedes aegypti mosquitoes can affect the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever. This study aims to determine the relationship between the presence of breeding sites and resting places to the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever in the Working Area of Perumnas Health Center, Lahat Regency. This research is a quantitative research using case-control study design. The sampling technique used simple random sampling with a ratio of 1:2 so that the sample amounted to 90 respondents. The data were analyzed univariately to describe the variables causing the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever, bivariate to determine the relationship between variables causing dengue hemorrhagic fever based on the chi-square test, and multivariate to decide on the most dominant risk factor using multiple logistic regression test with prediction model. Bivariate results showed that the variables affecting the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever were the presence of larvae in the bathtub (p-value = 0.000) and hanging clothes (p-value = 0.014). Multivariate analysis showed that larvae in the bathroom (p-value = 0.000) were the most dominant risk factor for dengue hemorrhagic fever. The advice that can be given is that the community can clean the bathtub once a week.
