Work posture is one of the ergonomic risks that need to considered by company. Work posture is the position of the worker's body when doing task. If workers in the wrong working posture, they are at risk of Muculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). Likewise for workers at sea, namely ferry crew. PT Citra Adiartha Shipping ferry crews has a risky work posture because they work in a confined space and often doing physical activities every day so that their work posture is at risk of Muculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). These complaints can cause injuries, disabilities to death. The purpose of this study was to working posture analysis with Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) on ferry crews of PT Citra Adiartha Shipping Batam-Malaysia route. The research design is descriptive research with qualitative approach using WAC ergonomic tools methods. Observation and interviews used for data collection. Informants in this studies are 9 people which 3 people as key informants and 6 people as supporting informants. The results showed that the jobs with natural postures are docking and undocking ship, throwing - pulling the mooring ropes and pulling - tying the ship's mooring ropes, and checking lubricating oil leaks. Then jobs with unnatural postures are managing ship manifests, managing ship handles, ship bunkers, driving ships, checking and maintaining the engine room, and lifting passenger goods. The level of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) complaints on ferry crews at moderate to severe level. The highest MSDs complaints on ferry crews were at the waist (83.33%). The conclusion of this study is ferry crews had 3 natural working postures and 6 unnatural working postures with moderate to severe Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) complaints.
