Minister of Health Regulation Number 33 of 2015 standard for sanitarian staff in Ogan Ilir Regency in 2022 will have a shortage of around 80% of sanitarian staff. This condition indicates that the number and distribution of sanitarian staff is still lacking, which can lead to excessive workload. Therefore it is necessary to plan the needs of sanitarian staff based on the health workload analysis. This study aims to compile the needs for sanitarian staff at the Urban Health Center in Ogan Ilir Regency. The method used is quantitative by using the health workload analysis method. The health workload analysis method is a method for calculating the need for health human resources based on the workload carried out by each type of SDMK and each health service facility in accordance with their main tasks and functions. The sample was determined using the total population sample method, namely using stratified random sampling of 5 sanitarian staff in Ogan Ilir Regency. Data collection was done through interviews and observation. The results of the study in the form of descriptions of the main activities and supporting staff for the sanitarian staff of the Ogan Ilir District Health Center, as well as the achievements of the main activities in 1 year and analysis of the health workload indicate that the Health Centers in Ogan Ilir District experience a shortage of sanitarian staff due to the high workload, having many supporting tasks and the high number of target achievements of the community to be served. Based on the Health Workload Analysis, the total need for sanitarian staff using the workload analysis method in Ogan Ilir District is 16 people, with the current number of sanitarian staff, which is 5 people. There is a gap in the number of sanitarian staff in the 5 Urban Health Centers of Ogan Ilir Regency, which is still lacking at 11 people. It is hoped that the Health Office should recruit sanitarian staff according to the needs of the puskesmas.
