HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN GIZI DAN FREKUENSI KONSUMSI FAST FOOD DENGAN STATUS GIZI BERDASARKAN IMT/U PADA REMAJA DI SMA XAVERIUS 1 KOTA PALEMBANG
Nutritional status is the condition of the body as a result of the use of nutrients and physical activity. The nutritional status of adolescents can be assessed using the BMI method according to age (BMI/U). The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between nutritional knowledge and frequency of fast food consumption with nutritional status based on BMI/U in adolescents at SMA Xaverius 1 Palembang. This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique is stratified random sampling. The sample of this research was adolescents at SMA Xaverius 1 Palembang City, totaling 73 people. The sample calculation uses the formula for testing the hypothesis of a difference of two proportions. The data analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. Bivariate analysis in this study used the Chi Square test. The results of this study indicate that there is no relationship between nutritional knowledge (p-value = 0.214 and PR = 1.959) and frequency of fast food consumption (p-value = 0.671 and PR = 0.801) with nutritional status based on BMI/U in adolescents at SMA Xaverius 1 Palembang city.
