This study aims to empirically examine the effect of industrial concentration and production costs on efficiency in the sugar industry in Indonesia and to determine the development of industrial concentration, production costs, and efficiency in the sugar industry in Indonesia. The type of data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics from 2010-2020. The analysis technique used in this study used multiple linear regression tests using E-Views 12. Calculation of the Concentration Ratio of 4 companies (CR4) and Stochastic Frontier Analysis to calculate the level of efficiency. The results showed that there was a positive effect of concentration and production costs on efficiency in the Indonesian sugar industry. then the efficiency of the sugar industry will also increase. Industrial concentration as measured by the four major companies (CR4) produced by the sugar industry in Indonesia is 40 percent. The development of production costs generated by the sugar industry in Indonesia from 2010 to 2020 has increased by 116.94 percent. The development of efficiency in the sugar industry from 2010-2020 has reached a technical-based efficiency of 0.999404.
