PENGARUH DOSIS PUPUK MAJEMUK NPK 16-16-16 TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN CABAI BESAR (Capsicum annuum L.) PADA BUDIDAYA TERAPUNG
This study aims to determine the effect of the dose of compound fertilizer NPK 16-16-16 on the growth and yield of large chili plants in a floating swamp area. This research was conducted in a pond within the Department of Agricultural Cultivation, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University Indralaya (104°64'86”E; 3°22'51”S). The implementation time of the research starts from June to September 2021. The method that will be used in the study is the Randomized Block Design (RBD) method, with 4 treatments and 3 replications for each treatment, and in each replication there are 3 plants, so that the total number of plants is 36 plants. The treatment dose of NPK compound fertilizer consisted of P0= control, P1= 5g/polybag, P2= 10g/polybag, and P3= 15g/polybag. Parameters observed include plant height. Number of leaves, flowering age, harvest age, fruit length, fruit diameter, fruit weight per fruit, dry weight of stem, and number of fruit planted. The results showed that the application of NPK pearl 16-16-16 fertilizer on large red chili plants had a significant effect on plant height at week 5, number of leaves at week 5 and 6. In addition, it has a very significant effect on the parameters of plant height at 6 to 8 weeks and fruit length. The use of NPK compound fertilizer has the best effect on supporting the growth and yield of large red chili plants in a floating manner, with a dose of P2 10g /polybag.
