Occupational fatigue is one of the causes for accidents at the workplace. One of the professions that is at risk of occupational fatigue is nurse, because nurse has a high duty and responsibility for the safety of a human life. Occupational fatigue that occurs to the nurse can threaten the safety of the nurse itself and also the patients because occupational fatigue causes an increase in the incidence of injuries and mistakes. The purpose of the research is to find the determinants of occupational fatigue on nurse. The research is an analytic descriptive study with cross sectional method. The sampling technique was carried out by means of total sampling. The result showed that there was no relationship between age (p-value 0,227), gender (p-value 1,000), marital status (p-value 0,757), nutritional status (p-value 0,257), years of service (p-value 0,771), mental workload (p-value 1,000) and there is relationship between sleep quality (p-value 003), length of work (p-value 0,041) and physical workload (p-value 0,016) to the occupational fatigue on nurse at Central Bangka Region Hospital in 2022. The results of multivariate analysis showed that the dominant risk factor for occupational fatigue on nurse at Central Bangka Region Hospital was sleep quality with p-value 0,005 and PR = 6,3. Thus, it is necessary to take several countermeasures such as periodic inspections related to nurse’s work schedules, increasing the percentage of nursing services and imposing sanctions in the form of reducting services to nurses who are on duty not according to a predetermined schedule.
