Indonesia experiences industrial development every year, but it must be noted that every job must contain potential ergonomic risks. Based on the health profile in Indonesia, the number of sufferers of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) complaints in hospitals in Indonesia was 175,132 visits (29.8%). The causes of musculoskeletal complaints are excessive muscle stretching, repetitive activities, and unnatural work attitudes. One of the workers who is at risk of experiencing Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) is jumputan workers. This study aims to analyze the effect of Workplace Stretching Exercise (WSE) on reducing Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) complaints among jumputan workers at Tuan Kentang, Palembang. This study uses a qualitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The sample in this study consisted of 3 industries, the number of informants was 14 people using total sampling technique and each industry was further divided into 2 groups (experimental group and control group). Data were collected using the PLIBEL (Pland for Identifiering av. Belastningsfactorer) questionnaire technique and in-depth interviews. The results from the PLIBEL calculation table show that the experimental group experienced a decrease in MSDS complaints and the control group did not experience a decrease and even an increase in MSDS complaints. This shows the effect of Workplace Stretching Exercise (WSE) on reducing Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) complaints in jumputan workers at Tuan Kentang, Palembang. It is recommended to continue to implement Workplace Stretching Exercise (WSE) in between rest hours to reduce MSDS complaints to workers.
