Adolescents during the school period show higher levels of stress compared to the adult and elderly age groups because at this age many physical, psychological, hormonal and social changes occur. The prevalence of stress events in adolescents in Indonesia continues to increase every year to reach 6.2%. This type of research is descriptive analytic using a cross-sectional design. A total of 159 grade 12 high school youths became the research sample selected by purposive sampling method. The data analysis in this study was processed using univariate and bivariate methods using the chi-square test and simple logistic regression. Data from the results of this study showed that there were 60.4% of female students and 39.6% of male students experiencing emotional eating, and 3.1% of respondents with very high stress levels, 15.7% with severe stress levels, 27, 7% with moderate stress levels, 16.4% with mild stress levels, and 37.1% with normal stress levels experience emotional eating. 86.8% of respondents were not active in physical activity, and 13.2% were active in physical activity experiencing emotional eating.
