Sampling was carried out using total sampling technique or all members were taken as samples. Data obtained by measuring dust levels, lung function, and interviews. Data were analyzed using frequency test, chi-square/fisher's exact. The results showed that exercise habits (P-value = 1.000) and gender (P-value = 0.099) had no effect on lung function disorders, while age (P-value = 0.004), dust content (P-value = 0.019 ), use of PPE/mask (P-value = 0.02), years of service (P-value = 0.003) and smoking habits (P-value = 0.014) have an influence on lung function disorders. Impaired lung function of sawmill workers in Kenten Laut Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency is affected by age, dust content, use of PPE/mask, years of service and smoking habits.
