UJI KINERJA HAND TRACTOR RODA BESI PADA PEMBAJAKAN TANAH DENGAN VARIASI DIAMETER RODA BESI, KECEPATAN MAJU DAN LEBAR KERJA MATA BAJAK SINGKAL TERHADAP KEBUTUHAN BAHAN BAKAR
This study aims to determine the fuel consumption of an iron-wheeled hand tractor in tillage with various wheel diameters, forward speed, and plowshare width. This research was carried out from May 2023 to June 2023 at the Mechanical Laboratory, Soil and Water Engineering Study Program of Agricultural Engineering, as well as the Practicum and Research Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya Indralaya University. The method used was a randomized factorial block design (RAKF) which consisted of three treatment factors, namely wheel diameter, forward speed, and plowshare width. The research parameters consist of main and supporting parameters. The main parameters are fuel consumption and supporting parameters including wheel slip, travel time per track, wheel rotation speed, bulk density, width of land turning, and percentage of land turning. The results showed that the width of the plowshares and the combination of treatment levels had a significant effect on fuel requirements. The combination of the lowest fuel requirements in the D2V1L2 treatment (75 cm diameter of iron wheel, 3.5 km/h forward speed, 13 cm plowshare width) is 4.30 ml/track.
