ANALISIS HIGIENE DAN SANITASI LINGKUNGAN DI PASAR MULTIWAHANA SAKO KOTA PALEMBANG
Traditional markets are public service facilities that have poor hygiene and sanitation conditions compared to modern markets, so there is a risk of health problems or transmission of various types of diseases. This study aims to look at the application of environmental hygiene and sanitation at the Multiwahana Sako Market, Palembang City. This research method is descriptive with a qualitative approach and data collection through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. With 1 key informant and 11 supporting informants determined by purposive sampling. Based on the research results for each component of environmental sanitation, it is obtained as follows, the water management variable has 2 points that do not meet the standard, the waste management variable has 8 points that do not meet the standard, the waste management variable has 5 points that do not meet the standard, the vector management variable has 6 points that did not meet the standards, there was 1 point for the market-infected variable that did not meet the standards, and for PHBS hygiene variables for traders there were 8 points that did not meet the standards and for PHBS visitors 3 points that did not meet the standards. The conclusion from the research results was that in general environmental hygiene and sanitation at the Multiwahana Sako Market in Palembang City did not meet the standards according to the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2020 concerning Healthy Markets.
