This study aims to determine the growth response and yield of the Red Lettuce Plant (Lactuca sativa L.) which was given three different types of planting media in a hydroponic system with a concentration of Ab Mix 100 ppm. This research was carried out at the Hydroponic Greenhouse of Agronomy Study Program, Department of Agricultural Cultivation, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya from July to August 2022. The study used a Complete Randomized Design (RAL), which consisted of 3 treatments where each treatment was repeated 3 times. Each test contains 18 plants, bringing the total number of plants to 54. The observation results were analyzed using the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) method and the 5% Smallest Real Difference (BNT) test. The treatment in this study was 3 different types of planting media consisting of husk charcoal, cocopeat, and rockwool planting media with a concentration of Ab Mix 100 ppm. The treatment is, M1 = Husk Charcoal Planting Media + Ab Mix 100 ppm, M2 = Cocopeat Planting Media + Ab Mix 100 ppm, M3 = Rockwool planting media + Ab Mix 100 ppm. The observed parameters include plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, degree of leaf greenness, fresh weight of leaves, fresh weight of stems, fresh weight of roots, dry weight of leaves, dry weight of stems, dry weight of the root, length of roots. The results of this study showed that the treatment of several different planting media, namely husk charcoal, cocopeat, and rockwool, had a very significant effect on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, dry weight of leaves and significantly different in leaf fresh weight, total fresh weight, root length, leaf area, greenish level, and total dry weight. But it has no significant effect on the parameters of the fresh weight of the stem, the fresh weight of the root, the dry weight of the stem, and the dry weight of the root.
