PENGGUNAAN BIOCHAR DAN PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR PADA BUDIDAYA BAYAM (Amaranthus tricolor) MENGGUNAKAN TANAH RAWA LEBAK DENGAN SISTEM IRIGASI TETES
Non tidal lowland has more potential to be used as agricultural land despite the acidity of the soil and limited nutrients. Due to the low level of acidity, the use of biochar as a soil ameliorant has quite a good effect on the soil. The types of plants that are suitable for non tidal lowland are hortichultural crops, one of which is green spinach which is loved by all people. The demand for spinach has not been met due to reduced fertile land for farming. In this way affecting the production of spinach is the use of POC and drip irrigation systems to meet the water needs of spinach. This research was carried out in September and November 2022 in Perumnas Talang Kelapa, Alang-Alang Lebar, Palembang. The design used in this study was a completely randomized design with 4 treatments with different doses of biochar. Each experimental unit was repeated 3 times so that there were 12 planting media experimental units. The experimental units used were BP0 (Control/without treatment), BP1 (Biochar 15 tonnes/ha + POC 220 ml/L), BP2 (Biochar 20 tonnes/ha + POC 220 ml/L), BP3 (Biochar 30 tonnes/ha) + POC 220 ml/L). The research data were then tested using ANOVA and further tested using the BNT test at the 5% level. The results showed that the composition of the growing media had a significant effect on N-Total, pH, plant height, number of leaves, c-organic, al-dd and production weight of spinach
