Cultivation of plants using polybags is a cultivation that can be done on limited land, easy to maintain and average types of horticultural crops can be planted well supported by a mixture of good planting media. This study aims to examine the effect of the application of mixed planting media of soil, rice husk charcoal and compost on the availability of N, P, K and caisim production and determine the composition of mixed planting media of soil, rice husk charcoal and compost that is better in the growth and production of caisim plants. This research was conducted from December 2021 to July 2022 at the Greenhouse of the Soil Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir. The design used in this study was a completely randomized design with 5 different planting media compositions. Each type of planting media was repeated 4 times so that there were 20 experimental planting media units. The composition of the planting media tested in this study included 25% soil + 75% rice husk charcoal, 25% soil + 56.2% rice husk charcoal + 18.7% compost, 25% soil + 37.5% rice husk charcoal + 37.5% compost, 25% soil +18.7% rice husk charcoal, + 56.2% compost, 25% soil + 75 % compost. The results of the research were then tested statistically using ANOVA at the 5% level and further tested using the BNT test at the 5% level. The results showed that the composition of the planting media had a significant effect on the availability of pH, C-organic, N-Total and K-dd and caisim production. Planting media with a composition of 25% soil + 18.7% rice husk charcoal + 56.2% compost gave the best results in increasing available N, P, K and caisim production.
