PENGARUH PERMAINAN PUZZLE TUMPENG GIZI SEIMBANG TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP SARAPAN PAGI ANAK DI SD NEGERI 114 PALEMBANG
Breakfast is one of the ways to prevent obesity, to obtain a good nutritional status is to get used to breakfast. Data from Riskesdas 2010 showed that 44.6% of primary school children had low quality breakfast intake, which was below 15% of daily nutritional adequacy.This research is using quantitative data through quasi experiment design with pre-test and post-test with control group design. The sample was 60 fifth grade students who were selected using purposive sampling. The results showed the greatest increase in knowledge of the experimental group regarding the definition of breakfast (23%), the benefits of breakfast (50%), the disadvantages of skipping breakfast (10%) and physical activity (26%) while the control group regarding skipping breakfast (13%) and clean living behavior (20%).The increase in the positive attitude score of respondents (experimental) was most in the statement "when I eat breakfast my body does not feel weak while in class" (20%), while the increase in the negative attitude score of respondents in the statement "before consuming food I do not have to wash my hands first" (33%). There was a difference in mean knowledge of the experimental group (51,5), knowledge of the control group (31,6), attitude of the experimental group (24), and attitude of the control group (19,33). Wilcoxon test showed there was a difference between knowledge and attitude before and after the intervention in the experimental and control groups p-value (0,000), while Mann-Whitney test showed there was a significant difference in the effect of knowledge p-value (0,000) and the difference in the effect of attitude p-value (0,001) between the experimental and control groups. It can be concluded that there is an effect of a balanced nutrition tumpeng puzzle game on children's knowledge and attitude towards breakfast.
