ANALISIS UPAYA PENERAPAN DISIPLIN KERJA DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA PEGAWAI NON MEDIS DI RSUD SITI FATIMAH PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
In the accumulated lateness recapitulation data for employees at the Siti Fatimah Hospital in South Sumatra Province in 2022, it is known that the number of tardiness for non-medical employees is higher than for medical and support staff. This behavior is included in the example of employee indiscipline, and if left unchecked can have an impact on decreasing employee performance. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of work discipline in improving the performance of non-medical employees at Siti Fatimah Hospital, South Sumatra Province. This study uses a qualitative research design through interview techniques, document review, and observation. There were 8 informants from non- medical employees at the Siti Fatimah Hospital in South Sumatra Province. Data analysis used the content analysis method which was presented in a descriptive way in the form of narratives and descriptions of the results of document reviews and observations. The results showed that at the Siti Fatimah Hospital in South Sumatra Province, the application of work discipline for non-medical employees had been implemented in accordance with applicable regulations with indicators of types of disciplinary violations, factors that influence disciplinary violations, and obstacles in applying discipline. An overview of the work discipline of non-medical employees with indicators of attendance and determination of employee working hours, namely that there are still some non-medical employees who are late and an indicator of employee compliance with the rules, namely that most employees have complied with the rules of uniform and attributes in accordance with the Director's Regulations. The performance of non-medical employees is good in terms of the quality and quantity of employee work, implementation of tasks according to the timeframe and maximum results, as well as timeliness and responsibility. The conclusion of the study was that the application of work discipline in improving the performance of non-medical employees at the Siti Fatimah Hospital in South Sumatra Province had been implemented and there were regulations from the relevant hospitals in improving the performance of these non-medical employees. It is hoped that the Siti Fatimah Regional Hospital of South Sumatra Province will add a standing banner for socialization related to work discipline in sub-sections that often commit disciplinary violations.
