Stunting is one of the nutritional problems that is currently a concern in Indonesia because in 2022 the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia will reach 21.6%. Stunting is a multifactorial health case, one of which is the environmental factor, namely clean water which, if consumed, will inhibit the absorption of nutrients in toddlers. This study aims to determine the relationship between the clean water factor and the incidence of Stunting in toddlers aged 24-59 months in Mariana Ilir Village, Banyuasin 1 District, Banyuasin Regency. This research is an observational analytic research using quantitative data through a cross sectional approach. The number of samples is 60 toddlers. The sampling technique for this study was purposive sampling using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with the chi-square statistical test. The statistical test results showed that there was a relationship between clean water sources (p=0.028; PR=0.327) and the incidence of Stunting. There is no relationship between the physical quality of clean water (p=0.104; PR=3.163), the use of clean water (p=0.132; PR=2.011), and clean water treatment (p=0.132; PR=0.497) with the incidence of Stunting. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between clean water sources and the incidence of Stunting in toddlers aged 24-59 months in Mariana Ilir Village, Banyuasin 1 District, Banyuasin Regency. It is recommended for the people of Mariana Ilir Village to use protected clean water, routinely clean clean water storage containers, and take preventive measures such as boiling water before drinking and letting it boil for 5-10 minutes so that all microorganisms contained in the water die.
