Effectiveness is the effectiveness of operations by comparing the budget with the actual results or the latest realization achieved in a local government. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the financial performance of the Regional Working Units at the Regional Inspectorate Office of South Sumatra Province, by comparing budget data and budget realization per spending object. In addition to the budget, the role of the oversight program for the South Sumatra Provincial Inspectorate office is very important to make a good contribution from the budgetary and good governance aspects. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, namely collecting, presenting, and analyzing data that can provide a clear picture of the effectiveness of each financial performance expenditure object and the role of the supervisory program at the inspectorate office of the province of South Sumatra. From the data analysis conducted by the researchers, it can be seen that the effectiveness of the SKPD financial performance at the inspectorate office for the province of South Sumatra in 2019-2022 is quite effective and the supervision program implemented is in accordance with the rules from the budgetary and good goverence.
